Are Samsung Fridges Good? Review

Are Samsung Reliable Refrigerators?

Yes, Samsung refrigerators are reliable refrigerators. Samsung is recognized as one of the most reliable and trusted appliance brands out there. They have innovative technologies that improve food preservation and freshness, as well as ample storage space for the best functionality. They’re trustworthy and have fridges suited for many types of kitchens.

How Long Does A Samsung Fridge Last?

Samsung fridges tend to last around 15 years. Check the manufacturer’s maintenance guidelines to keep it running smoothly and keep the fridge clean; treat it with care. This will ensure your fridge lasts as long as possible.

Energy Rating

Energy ratings are important to consider when deciding what fridge is best for you. Energy ratings tell you how energy efficient a fridge will be. This is where an Energy Efficiency Rating comes in.

The Energy Efficiency Rating scale is a letter range from A-G. A is the most energy-efficient, and G is the least energy-efficient.

Higher efficiency is always better, especially because fridges run 24/7, so they make a greater impact on your monthly electric bills.

The more energy-efficient a fridge is, the less it will cost you. More efficient appliances are also good for the environment because they produce fewer greenhouse gases.

Most Samsung refrigerators have a rating of F or E. They also have several options with ratings of A, B, C, and D. F and E are very common refrigerator ratings across the board, so nothing special there. But they have a few higher-rated options than other brands like Hisense or Haier.

Styles

Samsung fridges feature all the major styles

  • American Side-By-Side

Half of the unit is a fridge, and half of the unit is a freezer with two separate doors.

  • French Door

Features a two-door fridge on top with a pull-out freezer drawer on the bottom. Some have a second drawer above the freezer for extra fridge space.

Another variation Samsung offers is a two-door fridge above a two-door freezer.

  • Classic Fridge Freezers

A one-door fridge on top of a one-door freezer.

  • 1 Door Fridges

A single-door fridge with no freezer.

They offer all the basic colors like white, black, and grey. But they also have purple, blue, beige, and peach.

Storage Space

Samsung has high-tech and innovative storage options. They even offer a freezer/fridge convertible zone to best suit your needs.

Widths range from 540 mm to 912 mm, heights range from 1,775 mm to 2,030 mm, and capacities range from 267 litres to 647 litres.

The space max technology is also a great space-saving feature.

Pricing

Samsung fridges range in price from £449 to £4,000. The french door design is the most expensive, with the side-by-side following close behind.

The cheaper ones won’t have as many nice features or be wifi-enabled to connect to the app, and they’ll also be smaller with less capacity.

However, you can get a classic fridge freezer with a water dispenser and a few other great features for under £500. That’s a steal in my book.

What Do Customers Say About Samsung Fridges?

Overall, Samsung refrigerator reviews are mainly 4 and 5-star reviews.

What customers liked: Spacious and convenient storage options. The convertible zone feature. Customer service.

What customers didn’t like: Product malfunctions like leaking, ice dispenser problems, and stops cooling.

Every brand will have at least a small percentage of products that malfunction. But Samsung has lots of nice features, so if you’re looking for a higher-end fridge with the latest innovations, Samsung does the job.
