But, it’s important to know the amount of weight a mobile home can carry on its floor, the roof, the walls, etc. As a bare minimum, the floors of mobile homes can take at least 40 pounds per square foot of live weight.

Typically speaking, the ceiling of a mobile home can hold 20 pounds per square foot. 

How much weight can a mobile home roof hold?

The roof of a mobile home will be able to take at least 20 pounds per square foot on average. The roof of a mobile home that is newer, better constructed, and is stronger may be able to take upward of 30 pounds per square foot.

Also, the standards say that the floor of a mobile home must be able to hold a 200-pound concentrated load on a one-inch diameter.

How much weight can a mobile home axle hold?

Most mobile homes will be built on two axles that will be able to hold a total of 7,000 pounds. This weight includes the frame, total structure, and cargo. a standard mobile home will have two 3,500 pound axles that are capable of carrying this weight. Larger axles can carry more.

A standard mobile home will typically have two 3,500 pound axles. In these cases, the maximum amount of weight the axles will be able to take will be a total of 7,000 pounds.
