If making soda and warm water doesn’t work, try rubbing alcohol. Rubbing alcohol is powerful and safe to use on quartz and it’s great for removing tough stains.

No, tea does not stain white quartz any easier than it does dark coloured quartz, but it will show more. This is because of the contrast between the dark pigments in the tea and the clear white background of white quartz.

Tea will not stain white quartz any easier than it will darker colour quartz. But, because of the dark pigmentation of tea, it’s likely to show up much more against the clear background of a white quartz countertop. The heavy contrast means any dark stain will appear more prominently on a white quartz countertop.

Does cleaning the tea stain straightaway make a difference?

Yes, the sooner you clean up a tea stain the less likely it is to be able to settle deeply and cause a deeper stain that’s harder to remove. If tea is spilt, simply wipe it up as quickly as possible with a damp clean cloth.
